AN INNOVATIVE POLO TEAM
REPRESENTING SAUDI ARABIA

Purpose

The movement aims to contribute to the development of polo in the Kingdom and to inspire a new generation of equestrian champions.

Founder

SMA Polo was founded in 2022 by HRH Salman Al Saud, who is passionate about promoting the sport in Saudi Arabia.

Vision

The wider vision is to support the growth of the sport in the Kingdom, and encourage young Saudis to discover the sport.

2022 WINNERS OF THE CHESHIRE POLO CUP

HRH Prince Salman bin Monsour commented on his win ‘to lift the trophy today is a great feeling.  Both teams showed why polo is such an intense sport.

Burley polo team were exceptional today and we were pushed all the way but we held together as a team, defended well and took our chances. This is a great achievement on our debut, and I am very proud of the whole team’.
